Hello Class of '86,
You may or may not know, but the DVD is finished and out. If you
ordered one and haven't received it, please email Marice (mariceleo@yahoo.com). Thank you
for being patient, but I think we can all agree it was an unbelievable
amount of work. A HUGE thank you to David O'Connell for taking on the
project. I'm sure you had no idea what you were getting into, but we
really appreciate you seeing it through to the end in spite of all the
computer nightmares. I cannot believe all those pictures were taken in
two nights! And I love our class - everyone looked like they were
happy. By the way, David Schlitt promised to buy all the alcohol for
the next reunion, so we let him be in every other photo on the DVD!
Kidding.

Hello Everyone!
Thank you for attending our 20 year reunion! I truly had a blast! Our enthusiastic, dance-crazy class of '86 rocked! Throughout the weekend people kept telling me that they forgot what a fun class we have! The only true problem with the weekend was that it was too short. There were definitely people I didn't even get to say hello to! How is that possible? (Perhaps because I wasted precious time in the beer line?!) Of course, we learned a few things and hopefully we plan to improve for our next reunion. We'll look for less grumpy bartenders, inform them that Heineken does not count for imported beer and tell them to take their drink tickets and...:). Just kidding.
If you have suggestions for the future, please volunteer for the next reunion or post them on the website. I've already heard great ideas like rollerskating at Skatetown, having the Sunday picnic at the Gifford Youth Center where we could cool off in the pool, and other non-alcohol events! Keep those ideas alive!
What else did I learn? Stop talking!:) Next time we'll just post the thank you's on the website! But I do want to recognize the tremendous effort of our classmates who donated their time, money and contacts for the reunion. A special thanks to the reunion committee members and a gigantic THANK YOU to Marice Leo for volunteering to chair our 20 year reunion!
There are no rules or precedents for future reunions. If anyone wants to plan a 25 year sub-reunion, feel free. Otherwise, I'm already sad that our next one is ten years away. I can't wait to see you again! I love the Vero Beach High School class of '86!
